Scholarship Program

Overview

The International School of Greenville (ISG) provides need-based scholarships to eligible students for the purpose of furthering bilingual education. Scholarships are awarded solely based on the family’s financial situation. Scholarships are provided in the form of free or reduced tuition.

The number and amount of scholarships depends on the number of applicants and budget available.  Each year the International School of Greenville assesses the budget available for scholarships after an assessment of financial position and projected revenue and operating expenses.  The budget is established by approval by the Board.

Application

Any parents who cannot cover the full tuition for their children are encouraged to apply for a scholarship. As part of the application process, parents must first assess eligibility for grants offered by institutions other than ISG whether government or private. ISG assists parents in identifying grant programs for which they are eligible. ISG assists parents in applying for any applicable education grants.  If the full tuition is not fully covered by the grant, ISG endeavors to pay the remaining balance that the parents attest that they cannot pay, up to the budgetary limit established at the beginning of the school year. Applications must be accompanied by 3 years of tax returns and the finanical worksheet.
